Senior Software Engineer(Python /Django)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Python) to join our dynamic team. Previous experience in architecting big projects, such as E-Commerce, is highly desirable.

 

Responsibilities:

Architecting and designing efficient and reliable software solutions for large-scale projects using Python and related technologies.

Leading the development team in implementing clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

Writing and maintaining technical documentation for developed software components.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Above 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering large-scale projects like Daraz, E-vely, Othoba, or any E-Commerce system.

 

Strong proficiency in Python and its frameworks, such as Django, Django Rest Framework, and Fastapi.

Experience working with microservices.

Experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats & Logstash.

Proficiency in front-end technologies including React and JavaScript.

Knowledge of Socket programming and experience with Firebase for real-time communication.

Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Familiarity with No-SQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, or MariaDB.

Proficiency in message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.

Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker.

Good to have experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
